- Abstract
- A mathematical description of the die casting process for aluminum alloys under automated control conditions is proposed. The selection of key process parameters affecting casting quality is justified. Factor analysis was used to evaluate the impact of process parameters on the density and surface quality of parts. Based on experimental data, a regression model of the die casting process for aluminum parts has been obtained. Calculations are presented for statistical verification of the reproducibility of the results and the significance of the model coefficients. The most significant factors have been identified, which can be used in selecting optimal die casting conditions.
