- Abstract
- The article reflects the results of the analysis of materials presented at the meetings of technical working groups established to update the information and technical reference books on the best available technologies (for the metallurgical and chemical sectors) in 2025. The main proposals and additions regarding polluting marker substances, new BATs, and information on greenhouse gas indicators are considered. The importance of updating the information and technical reference books on BATs for industrial production is highlighted, including the formation of a methodological basis for implementing a BAT-based regulatory system, reducing resource consumption, and creating conditions for industrial leadership, among other things.
