- Land resources management problems dealing with the solid household waste treatment are considered. The alternative of the environmental safety and economic efficiency rise while treating solid household waste in Vologda region is offered; the demographic features of the region as well as the hydrographic and road systems with the geographical information system application being taken into consideration.
