- Abstract
- Performance based logistics nowadays is considering as one of the modern approaches in development of integrated logistic support, applicable at after-sale stage of product life cycle. The key idea of this approach is not to pay for after-sale support, but to pay for established product performance. One of the key performance indicators is the amount of direct maintenance costs for the technical operation of the product. Therefore, great importance attaches to methods of assessment/measurement of these costs and analyze ways to reduce them. The proposed article is dedicated to methods of calculation of direct maintenance costs in the frame of logistic support analysis.
