- Abstract
- Dynamics of interaction of powerful streams of high-temperature plasma (HTP) and fast ions (FI) generated in the device Dense Plasma Focus (DPF) is investigated for a special case. In these experiments solid conductive targets having shapes of a plate and a tube were placed normally and axially in respect to the Z-axis of the DPF chamber at its cathode side. Secondary plasma spread out from the target's surface is examined. We have found a shock-wave action upon the flat targets produced by the ion beam.
