- Abstract
- In this paper we considered different estimation approzches of scaling of parallel systems. We describe two computational models: equal duration model and parallel computation with serial section. Also, we describe Amdahl's law and Gustafson's law. The relevance of the theme is confirmed by the latest trends in information technology such as: shift accents towards parallel and concurrent computing, development of multi-core and multi-processor systems, development of cloud computing.
