- Abstract
- Heat exchange process at manufacturing of metal coverings in a vacuum arch with the refractory graphite anode is investigated. Simulation tests were spent by computer-based method with use of two-dimensional model heat exchange of process. The model included the following: influence of a heat flux from plasma on an anode surface; radiation from its surfaces and change thermalphysic characteristics of a material of the anode depending on temperature. The information analysis has shown that the temperature of an active surface of the anode is distributed rather in regular intervals, and temperature rise of an anode body occurred faster for shorter anodes. The maximum temperature of an active surface of the graphite anode poorly depended on its length and varied in limits from 1950-2400 К for current arc 175-340 A and anode lengths 1-3 сm.
