- Abstract
- To improve the original mineral structure of the refractories used in the electrolysis, the method of injection of particles containing the ions Li+ and B3+, the size of which is comparable to the size of the crystal lattice, which improves the chemical stability and implement the silting of the barrier layer. Pre-modification technology materials hinders the penetration of the ions Na+, intraphase prevents delamination of the barrier layer and creates a solid physical and chemical protection of the inner layers of the lining. The process of refining the initial waste lining of aluminum electrolyzers is a closed production cycle without waste receiving valuable for aluminum electrolysis products - alumina and cryolite, and the full utilization of secondary wastes (components - C, Ca2SiO4, CaF2) - climb in cement production. Released from thermochemical processing of carbon dioxide is absorbed by the system of wet gas scrubbing, and fully used in the carbonization of aluminate-fluoride solutions.
