- Abstract
- The paper describes methods for CAD-based development of GIS engineering networks. To create a modern GIS a technology scheme for source material preparation has been developed. The technology scheme encompasses all stages starting from selecting the source material to the final compilation of a GIS project. Analysis of the applicability of these methods for engineering networks monitoring is included.
