- All-Russian (previously all-Union) Institute of inter-industry information (VIMI) - one of the largest centers of scientific and technical information in the country. It concentrates main national information resources of Russia in the field of defense industry. In the fall of 2013 it will celebrate its 45th anniversary. This pleasant event determines the structure of this article which is to summarize the results and future plans.
