- Abstract
- An automated design system, which provides required or best characteristics of a product is considered in this paper. The system is built on base of the FlowVision CFD software and the IOSO optimization software. Authors show capabilities of FlowVision and IOSO and their joint use for automated design of engineering systems. The FlowVision CFD code is intended for numerical simulation of flows based on the solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations. FlowVision has a number of features that facilitate the carrying out calculations for the design of complex technical systems. The IOSO (integration platform for calculations management and optimization) allows integration of various theoretical models for solving multi-criteria and multiparameter optimization with small number of calls of calculation models. Joint use of FlowVision and IOSO can significantly accelerate the design of technical systems.
