- Abstract
- The method of calculation of effective dielectric function of the textured composites, generalizing Maxwell-Garnett approach and using the theory of representations of the rotation group, is applied to research the optical properties of the composites consisting of a dielectric matrix with silver ellipsoidal nanoinclusions, depending on a concentration, a form, a size of inclusions, and from the parameters describing statistical dispersion of their orientations. Properties of thin composite films are investigated and the model of the filter passing visible light and reflecting infrared radiation is offered.
