- Abstract
- Processing problems scanned imagies of pages of printing editions for their placing in electronic libraries are discussed. The basic attention is thus focused on preservation of recognized images of the text and illustrations and suppression of the graphic elements introduced by polygraphic technologies. The analysis of considered techniques and processing means allows to estimate their suitability for the decision of a considered class of problems.
