- Abstract
- Results of the quantitative-information analysis of a stream of publications on libraries and library science are discussed on the basis of search in key words in database Science Direct. Thematic directions, dynamics and cumulative numbers of publications are determined. Modeling these information streams is carried out on the basis of sedate, logarithmic, экспоненциальной dependences and a polynomial of the second degree. Conducting thematic directions both the basic periodic and proceeding editions necessary for acquisition of scientific libraries are determined. The concept quantitative library science is entered.
