- Abstract
- This article describes the developed algorithm, which allows the design phase of the local area network to identify the optimal values of the parameters and characteristics of its constituent elements. universal way of describing the topology of local networks have been proposed. mathematical model of the LAN, allowing to make calculations of reliability and safety parameters was developed. Proposed solution for assessing the impact of the parameters and characteristics of the network elements in the reliability and safety performance.
