- Despite the relative "youth", shale gas can now be considered the most promising view of gas fuel from all non-conventional hydrocarbons. He combines the qualities of natural gas and is also a renewable source of energy. To what extent shale gas will become a competing source of gas in comparison with the traditional development of gas fields? In the world community there is a lot of debate on the pros and cons of the development of shale gas, views on this issue are diametrically opposed: from the announcement of the development of shale gas is the industrial revolution that threatens Russia up to the hype - a consequence of the PR companies of those firms which have already invested in the development of shale gas deposits and seeking new investors.
