- Abstract
- A post-quantum no-key encryption protocol based on the computational difficulty of the hidden discrete logarithm problem defined in a new form is proposed. A four-dimensional finite non-commutative associative algebra defined over a finite ground field GF(p) and containing a large set of global left-side units is used as the algebraic carrier of the proposed protocol. The basic encryption operation is the exponentiation operation for which the message is represented as an element of algebra. The right-sided multiplication operation by the local left-sided unit and the homomorphism map operation are used as the masking mechanisms. The correctness of the protocol operation is ensured by the property of mutual commutativity of the base exponentiation operation with each masking operation.
