- Abstract
- The article contains systematized information on resource saving technologies as the basis of drawing metal-containing secondary resources into economic circulation. The complex of specific sequence technologies which can to solve resource saving tasks allows to compare the characteristic features and the efficiency of using for each of these technologies, process details and features. It is shown that extracting rare earth metals (REM) from chemical industry waste is performed using hydrometallurgy technologies: treatment of waste with acid (sulfuric, nitric, phosphoric, hydrochloric), as a result of which REM are transferred into a solution, from which they are subsequently extracted using various methods (precipitant treatment, ionic flotation, ion exchange technology). The best technological indicators of technogenic waste utilization processes are outlined. In order to assess the quality of technogenic raw material and its feasibility for complex processing and utilization, a methodology of analytic research of an array of patented technologic solutions is used in the article (technologic samples are collected at actual technogenic deposits).
