- Abstract
- The industrial-environmental safety management of the Russian Federation polar regions is an urgent and complex scientific and technical problem. The general approach to solving such problems is the use of modern information technologies and technical means. One of such components seems to be remote space sensing. The article is of an overview nature and is devoted to the possibilities and features of using this toolkit in the interests of safety managing, primarily technospheric, in the Arctic regions of the Russian Federation.
