- Abstract
- The existing industrial mine openings are proposed to consider as waste disposal sites. Due consideration has been given to domestic and foreign experience in deep earth waste disposal in unused mines. A lot of would-be suitable mine openings may prove this method highly beneficial. A technique for judicious selection of best mine openings is to be developed. Criteria that constitute a basis for this technique are provided.
