- Abstract
- The article discusses the issues of waste management reform. The approaches of the closed-cycle economy based on the use of waste as a component of secondary material resources, sustainable development in terms of the formation of socio-ecological and economic systems are studied. The analysis of existing methods of solid municipal waste management is carried out, suggestions for their optimization are given. The issues of economic incentives for the separate collection of municipal solid waste and the reduction of waste generation have been studied. The problems of collecting, exporting and disposing of solid waste from the housing stock have been identified, and ways to solve them have been identified.
