- Abstract
- The article presents the results of research on the effectiveness of using woven membrane materials for isolation of area sources of odourous substances emissions and the results of research on the effectiveness of reducing their content by biological methods. For isolation of area sources of odourous substance emissions, the use of spun bond with density of 150 g/m2 is effective. As a filling material for biofilters, it is advisable to use materials obtained using residues of pyrolysis of oil-containing waste: carbon-synthetic carrier and ceramics. The use of a carbon-synthetic biomass carrier in a biofilter allows to reduce the ammonia content by 61 % and the odor by 2 times.
