- Abstract
- This article examines the threat-mitigating capabilities of the Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2) wireless network security protocol. An experimental study of attacks aimed at exploiting WPA2 vulnerabilities is conducted in the context of the WPA3 protocol. Using practical examples of attacks such as forced deauthentication, brute force, and the "evil twin" attack, critical flaws in the WPA2 standard are identified, justifying the need to migrate to the WPA3 protocol. An algorithm is defined that allows compromising a WPA3 network using a device connected to the network via the WPA2 protocol.
