- Abstract
- The processes of the natural oxidation and leaching of stockpiled copper tailings under the influence of technological and natural water. It is established that the highest concentration of copper ions in the pore water of stockpiled tails is achieved when the auto-oxidation of the sample with the simultaneous impact of ambient air and atmospheric precipitation. Reduce pollution of water filtration ions of copper promotes the use of natural barriers of natural carbonate minerals. To reduce the intensity of the auto-oxidation and reduction of the concentration of copper ions in the filtration waters of the tailings invited to form a surface barrier of the components, which reduces the access of atmospheric oxygen and rainwater.
