- Abstract
- Nanoparticles - systems with complex chemical and biological characteristics. It is noted that their impact on environment and human health is not studied yet. Necessity of identification and assessment of environmental, medico-biological and other risks that may occur during nanomaterials articles manufacture is substantiated. Risks are determined by fire- and explosion hazard of nano-sized loose materials and (due to small size and high surface energy) their ability to penetrate into human organism through skin, respiratory tracts and gastrointestinal tract, and to pollute environment. Method for assessment of environmental risks and potential impacts of nanomaterials during the whole life cycle of product is offered. Nature-conservative and corrective measures have been offered to ensure safety during fabrication of articles from nanomaterials.
