- Abstract
- Carrying out geoecological and geological and geophysical works in the Arctic seas in the presence of the ice cover is associated with a number of difficulties, the most important of which are: a high probability of break outboard measuring cables and pulling-and-running carrier wire, difficulty maneuvering in ice fields. These problems can be eliminated by using as expedition ships catamarans that have passed successfully tested in the foreign studies. Experience in the use of manned submersibles in the Arctic showed their low efficiency in solving a geoecological tasks. Among unmanned underwater vehicles advisable to prefer Gliders - autonomous underwater vehicle multiple-use.
