- Abstract
- Influence of carbon nanomaterials on properties of epoxy glass fiber plastics. Applied carbon nanomaterial is based on multiwalled nanotubes. Treatment conditions of nanomaterial in order to improve its aggregate stability when it is introduced into the components of the epoxy matrix are given. Manufacturing technique and test conditions for tubular specimens are described. It is shown that the introduction of 0,01 and 0,04 mass percents of carbon nanomaterials enables one to increase the transverse strength of unidirectional glass fiber reinforced plastic and the shear strength in the layer plane.
