- Abstract
- The effect of Li for Na substitution on dielectric properties of sodium niobate solid solutions has been studied. It is revealed that in Na1-xLixNbO3 solid solutions the values of Curie-Weiss temperature obtained by extrapolation of the linear portions temperature dependence ε-1 of inverse susceptibility from the cubic phase grow abruptly with increase of Li concentration x. It is shown that experimentally observed changes of dielectric properties of Na1-xLixNbO3 solid solution can be explained by formation of dipole subsystem caused by Li cations displacements from the center of cubooctahedral cavity due to Na and Li cations steric mismatch.
