- Abstract
- A method of producing of porous metal using, as the matrix material, the powder Al (type PA-4) by sintering on air in presence silumin and flax KAlF4 is described. Influence of dispersivity of initial powders, structure of an initial mix on porosity and properties sintered material is investigated. It is shown that at sintering with use of a small amount of a flux and a fusible component (silumin) on air there is no essential oxidation of aluminium and producing of a material with porosity from 20 up to 45 % with satisfactory mechanical properties is possible.
