- Abstract
- The values of the dc electric field strengths giving rise to the domain rearrangements and the phase formation, in piezoelectric ceramic materials of different degree of ferrostiffness under the action of an electric field were determined from the results of x-ray studies. Correlations between the positions of maximums of the converse piezoelectric module d33 and the reversible dielectric permittivities and the regions of polarization reversal (or the drastic change of a degree of C-domainization) and, also, the abnormal behavior of the unit cell volume were established. It was shown that in ferrostiff materials the occurrence of the diffuse maximums of d33 in mean electric fields is due rather to the motion of phase boundaries than to the domain reorientations.
