- Abstract
- The present work describes the investigation of ecologically compatible technique for ceramic preparation of nanopowders. The significance of that exploration proved by the recent extensive researches in the ceramic field, which are conducted with the aim to improve mechanical properties of the ceramics. The sintering process and the resulting ceramics strongly depend on particle size, size distribution and particle shape of the used powders. In particular, many research groups are involved in producing of advanced ceramics using the nanopowders as the raw material. But due to different methods of their production the processing of such a powders gives the different results. The main idea is to achieve the dense ceramics with submicrograin structure. The mixtures of components of different chemical nature and large difference in average particle size had the sufficient strength and hardness in standard industrial ratios. For example, at moderate density, the microhardness 16-18 GPa for some of sintered samples had been achieved.
