- Abstract
- Polymeric media with the structural non-homogeneity conditioning (determining) of the gradient of their optical properties are described. The scientific publications on polymeric gradient light-focusing areas (elements) are generalized and analyzed. The general tendencies of development of gradient optics are discussed. The dependence of optical and other properties of gradient areas (elements) on several factors (nature of monomers, degree of their conversion, temperature, duration of gradient formation, etc.) are given. The regularities of technological process of creation of gradient areas (elements) are discussed. The methods of the producing of gradient areas from solid substances are described. The results of the original researches are given.
