- Abstract
- Thermostability and mechanical properties of nanostructured titanium, obtained by severe plastic deformation using equal-channel angular pressing, annealing at 573-673 K and cold plastic deformation have been investigated. It was determined that formation of nanostructured state in titanium of technical purity by above-mentioned method allows to obtain a real nanocomposite material with strength properties and values typical to multicomponent titanium alloys used in the medical field. The possibility of using of nanocomposite materials based on titanium without coating and with biocoatings as a material for medical implants has been shown.
