- Abstract
- The paper describes an analytical procedure for calculating of effective thermoelastic characteristics of 3D-reinforced composite materials with due account for their structure. Main calculation relationships are given; properties step-by-step calculation procedure involving consideration of one reinforcement direction at every step is outlined. Examples of calculations are discussed; comparison of received data with the well-known reference data that showed a good agreement of main characteristics under study. The suggested method can be successfully used in the engineering practice at making of design calculations, solving of material property optimization problems, and interpreting of experimental results.
