- Abstract
- Specific feature of the microstructure of the composite piezoceramics is the formation of complex inhomogeneous polycrystalline structure due to multicomponent character of its constituting solid solution (with the participation of relaxor ferroelectrics). It was shown that the modification by barium contributes to the formation of more perfect and coarse-grained microstructure of a similar type. Enlargement of the crystallites and reduction of tetragonal distortion in Ba-comprising ceramics contribute to alleviate domain reorientations, increasing their mobility. Enhancement of the mobility of domains (due to modification of ceramics) is the main reason for the substantial ascending of the relative permittivity of poled samples, growth of value of piezoelectric coefficient |d31| and improving of some other electrophysical parameters.
