- Abstract
- The basic ways of production of a new class of materials - high porous permeable cellular metals and alloys (HPCM) are demonstrated. The paper describes areas of application in which HPCM are already used or tested: separation of gas and steam environments; blending; gas distribution and gas streams alignment; catalysis; electrochemistry; the heat exchange connected with heat transmission from one environment to anothers; screening of radiowaves and other high-frequency oscillations screening; composite materials in laser optics.
