- Abstract
- An important problem of forecasting the load of the materials and construction components carried out on the basis of results which are restricted with time and by a number of trials, is considered in the paper. The probability assessment of reliability at different time instants is computed under different types of mechanical effects. The proposed method for calculating of the reliability is based on a new mathematical framework called the possibility theory. This method allows us to reduce the time of testes and their cost related to forecasting the load life of materials and construction components.
