- Abstract
- The paper presents examples of the application of oxide nanopowders in the manufacture technology of articles from advanced types of ceramic materials. Improving of quality of microstructure and increasing of properties of ceramic materials are reached by using of nanopowders in manufacturing technology of articles as well as by introducing in their compound oxide nanopowders and their compositions. The variety of possibilities of nanopowders using to create materials with unique properties are shown. Found that the use of nanopowders of partially stabilized zirconia in the system with aluminum oxide provides production of durable and ultra-durable materials, radiation-resistant and new optically transparent materials, high-quality ceramics for electronics. Application of oxides nanopowders and oxygen-free compounds allow to create ceramic materials for space technique articles with operating temperatures up to 2100 оC, as well as new armor ceramic materials.
