- Abstract
- It is noted that despite the significant number of publications impact of single-wall carbon nanotubes on the mechanical properties of carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP) is not yet fully understood and requires further experimental studies are reginred. These studies were conducted on samples of carbon-based fibers LU-P/0.2 and binder ENFB without and with the addition of purified single-wall carbon nanotubes with two levels of concentration. Wide range of elastic and strength characteristics, the nature of deforming and fracture in tension and compression of CFRP with fourteen different reinforcement schemes is received.
