- Abstract
- Noted that the three-point bending and interlaminar shear tests are the most simple methods of testing of specimens from polymeric composite materials implementing the stress-strain state, which takes into account the material interlaminar properties. Some tests of specimens made of carbon full-stressed fabric and polymeric matrix were conducted. The effect of geometrical parameters, actual monolayer thickness, predetermined various direction shear modules on the stress-strain state of the specimens during bending and interlaminar shear tests using the short beam method was analyzed. Effective shear modules were studied in terms of a specimen lay-up schedule and actual monolayer thickness in the specimens.
