- Abstract
- Methodical peculiarities of determining the elastic properties of carbon - carbon composites with spatial schemes reinforcement are shown. Unique methods are proposed for studying the C/C composite elastic characteristics, particularly, at high temperatures using available data about the test specimen ductility in general, which makes it possible to minimize use of both contact and non-contact strain gauges in the experiments. Results obtained from experimental development of the proposed methods are given. In addition, behavior of materials under cyclic loading is discussed, and qualitative results of low-cycle tests are shown.
