- Abstract
- Recently developed radiation-resistant thermal control coating is based on enamel composion ECOM-LG-2 and designed for the spacecrafts, which operate in high orbits (geostationary (GEO) and high-energy (HEO) orbits). In the process of the complex influence of space environment factors the initial and changed optical, electrophysical properties of the coating were measured. According to the results of ground tests the resistance of the coating during operation in GEO for 15 years has been evaluated. The newly developed coating, which is based on enamel coating ECOM-LG-2, has the following optical characteristics: solar absorption factor αs ≤ 0.15, thermal emissivity ε ≥ 0.92.
