- Abstract
- Method of elasticity estimation in orthotropic material due to elastic wave velocity is described. Procedure of elasticity modulus calculation using radial wave velocities propagating at different angle to symmetry axes of material is introduced. Elasticity calculations of a cylinder-cut specimen manufactured by spiral-ring winding are given. The article offers the dependence of waves' velocity on their directions for various material sections. Calculations are experimentally checked.
