- Abstract
- A methodology for determination of stiffness properties of an anisotropic layered shell depending on structural parameters of its package is explained. The methodology allows choosing rational parameters of the shell and optimizing its material with due account to given conditions and restrictions. The effect of layers wounded at an angle to its generatrix in the cylindrical shell packet upon the shell load-carrying ability is investigated. The parametric analysis is carrird out, and a field of use of the earlier obtained results of a problem of rigidity depending on structural and design parameters is considered. The recommendations for designing and making a B-Al cylindrical shell are given, if layers wounded at an angle to its generatrix are used.
