- Abstract
- The composition and structure of MAX-phases are discussed. The physical, mechanical and thermal properties of titanium carbosilicides are described. This work gives coverage to the main methods of obtaining MAX-phases. Composite material based on titanium carbosilicide is synthesized using spark plasma sintering (SPS) procedure. The X-ray analysis of the samples was performed. Their structure is studied by the scanning electron microscopy. Areas of application of composite materials synthesized by spark plasma sintering were determined.
