- Abstract
- The paper is devoted to the results of electron microscopic study of inner structure, sizes and distribution of voids, shells and other defects of a C-C composite MKU-4M-7 qualified at present. Methods of definition and data on distributions of the number of defects depending on their sizes, methods of calculation of distributions in definition of equivalent roughness parameters used to estimate ablated shapes of FVs are represented. The results of estimated variations in shape of a nose-piece from the MKU-4M-7 C-C composite of a model supersonic FV and its aerodynamic characteristics are also presented as against the estimated shapes of nose-pieces from other C-C composites and corresponding aerodynamic characteristics of FVs flying along a modeled trajectory.
