- Abstract
- The developments of parts and components of aircraft engines from composite materials (CM) made in recent years in CIAM by name P. I. Baranov are considered. It is shown that at the Institute the infrastructure of implementation of parts from CM in gas turbine engine is created. It has been established that an optimal, efficient engine based on the CM can only be carried out when the developments of new designs are made with account of peculiarities both of CM and integration it into the design of the engine. When using scientific and technical researches, established for years in CIAM and other organizations in the industry, can be noticeably faster closer to forecast indicators in engine building.
