- Abstract
- The use of ceramic materials as alloying elements in laser powder deposition allows to improve various properties of the deposited material layers. It has been established that the introduction of submicron titania powder into the powder of high-temperature nickel alloy can significantly reduce the pore size. It was shown, that, along with the optimization of the amount of the additive (even without a significant change in the operating parameters of the laser system), preliminary preparation of ceramic powder is necessary to improve its distribution in the deposited layers and improve the characteristics of composite material.
