- Abstract
- Тhe microstructure and microhardness of the surface layer of PA-GHp powder steels with different porosities in comparison with U10 cast steel after laser treatment with a 1-kW fiber laser in argon was studied. Тhe geometric dimensions of the laser irradiation zones formed in the laser exposure area were calculated with the help of thermal modeling and experimentally confirmed, and the mechanisms of their formation were proposed. The boundary values of the integral criterion for the parameters of laser exposure for heat treatment of carbon powder steels and the boundary values of the parameter P/(dv)0,4 at which a crack is formed in porous steels are established.
