- Abstract
- The interaction of the Nb-Si-Ti matrix and single-crystal a-Al2O3 fibers with TiN, Mo, W barrier coatings at the interfaces: matrix-coating-fiber is studied. It was found that the high temperature bending strength at 1300 оC of a composite material on the basis of the Nb-Si-Ti matrix reinforced by single-crystal a-Al2O3 fibers with TiN coating with the same bulk filling and the all other equal conditions (after 10 hours aging) slightly exceeds the strength of composite materials on the basis of the Nb-Si-Ti matrix reinforced by single-crystal a-Al2O3 fibers with W and Mo coatings.
